Mountain Biking through the Nera Greenway and Ferentillo

The Nera Greenway is a gravel path that can be travelled on foot, by bicycle or on horseback, which runs along the Nera river and makes the area accessible in a slow and very low-impact mode. Departing from Ferentillo, it is possible to ride along the Nera Greenway to the Marmore Falls (by bike 45 mins. x 12 km) or the towns of Scheggino and Santa Anatolia di Narco (by bike 90 min. x 15 km), from where you can also continue to another famous cycle path: the 'Spoleto/Norcia'. This cycle-pedestrian route is a set of several routes that include the Benedictine itineraries, the Via di San Francesco, and the former Spoleto-Norcia railway, and which are now connected to form a well-marked ring-route of about 180 km. The route of the Nera Greenway runs along a section of the Via di Francesco, of which Ferentillo is an intermediate step between Spoleto and Arrone.
